WordPress May Stats
Matt of WordPress announced May Stats for WordPress. There are some amazing numbers. I would definitely like to be a part of something like that, reaching out to millions of people, billions of times.
ScribeFire - seems to be the best blogging software on Mac
Small Pile of Even Smaller Things #0
I had an idea to put on the blog for a while. It was about all those things that did not by themselves constitute a blog entry. All those things I see every day, read about and hear. All those things I would like to share.
I will call these “Small Pile of Even Smaller Things” and make them into a series of blog posts, much like Nick Hodges’ “Random Thoughts on the Passing Scene”. There won’t be any constraints for the posts except for the length of each “thing”. I will write about new interesting software, websites, videos, music and games. Anything that comes to my mind. Starting tomorrow ![]()
Tough world we blog in
Blogging is really hard. Due to the fact that it contains some writing effort
It is hard to come up with ideas, for which I can give credit to myself, but actually organizing these thoughts in a manner that it is easy to understand or enjoy by some people I don’t even know… Well, this is the hard part.
I have noticed my impatience last week with blogging. I am not an impatient person. I can wait indefinitely at times. But when it comes to blogging I want results… now!
That is why I keep on abandoning blogs every month and starting new ones every other month. This is not how it works. The PSP Port -our pet project- got noticed by Mr. Google after almost 2 months and now people seem to visit the site even when there are no updates and pretty small amount of content.
Blogging is not easy. It will be my personal test for patience in writing and self-confidence.
WordPress.com and Google Analytics
is a no go unfortunately. You can not install Google Analytics on your wordpress.com blog.
Well since this is an exploratory blog I may survive with no Analytics in the short run.
